she's a lady...

Our blog needs to meet the newest Klain: baby Evalyn.

She sure is sweet and we are so happy to have her in our family. Currently she is in the swing, "singing" to me. Almost every breath out is a musical note of some sort. I'm hoping she has Auntie Lindsay's voice :)

Thanks to my wonderful friend Coleen Hauth (who is like 32 weeks pregnant with her 3rd child) - we got these great shots of Ev at 15 HOURS old! Can't possibly get closer to heaven than this:

You are loved, Evalyn.

April photo shoot

So... we had a little photo shoot last week with McKay while the weather was nice. I felt like I needed to get a couple shots of Mr. Miyagi before the little misses gets here.. some of them turned out pretty cute. I was working with a pretty handsome subject, though, if I do say so :)

This is us trying to get a pic of Yagi and Dad both with hands-in-pockets. We couldn't get McKay to keep his hands in his pockets long enough to snap a pic.
Heart throbs

And of course, we had to document la pregnant one.

baby sister

Just asked McKay what we're going to name the baby, what we're going to call baby sister.

He answered "ABC's"

We're open to all suggestions.

Fashion Show:
Trying out Daddy's shoes..
And Mommy's shoes (shirt off to maintain manliness, of course)
And Darth Vader's cloak (a.k.a. Daddy's Burton jacket)
Toque placed perfectly gangsta by Mr. McKay himself

Yummy "samich"
Holding hands while watching a very sensitive. bonding episode of Homestar Runner.

A favorite pass time of McKay's: Swinging in a food storage bin. What a good Dad to sacrifice his back for his son's enjoyment.

Just playing some ultimate twister at our ward party. So many giant circles!
