Race day. I ran the Provo City half marathon on May 5. Happy cinco-de-mayo right? It was a lot of fun - perfect running weather and a good course. Love being with my family at the finish line.

Putting those gloves to good work. Pulling weeds in our "backyard." McKay also helped me seed some peas and zucchini too. The next day, though, we had Rachell and Tim Enger over and their daughter Maddy. Maddy and McKay were outside, being way too quite, and were using cups to dig up our planters! Luckily we had just planted and could re-seed them pretty easily. He likes to help me water the plants everyday.

The blessing day.. we were so happy to get to be a part of Anderson (on left) and Ben's (on right) blessing. It was such a special day with lots of friends and family celebrating together. Aric and Micah are fantastic parents and I am in awe of how effortless they make caring for twins seem.

Buddies for life.

The lovely Micah. SHE IS INCREDIBLE. I think Micah was made to have twins because she does it so joyfully. Constantly in awe of her and her ability to be superwoman. Here is Auntie Micah with a very hot and sweaty Miyagi. This was the afternoon of the blessing day. We had so much fun with the Pavans and others of Micah and Aric's friends just being together and enjoying those 2 baby boys. They are angelic.

Apparently, this helmet has been around for a loooong time. McKay loved it.

Happy b-day to our sweet Eva. She was so sick the night before her b-day so we didn't do a lot of partying on the day of. I can't believe a whole year has gone by! How did it go so fast? Unbelieveable. So very glad to have my lovely little lady. She is my forever friend and I'm so lucky to have her. I love being her mother and spending so much time with her and big bro McKay.

On a trip to the electric meter at the barn. McKay was shocked to discover how hard that wind can blow and how cold it is to be out in it! McKay also got to ride with Babu on the tractor as he tried to flatten some dirt by the barn. He was bouncing all over the cab but loved it.

One week later, but she didn't care. Cake is cake. Happy b-day lady Evalyn. Angel food cake for the little slice of heaven herself :)

So comfortable. Could a belly button be any cuter? Oh, and she really hasn't let go of her sleep growling or her preference to sleep with her head completely under the blanket. She still loves her thumb, too.

McKay's first experience as a pupil. Since Brenan's parents live right across the street from where my mom teaches 3rd grade, we go visit her a lot. One day I took McKay over to school and he did NOT want to leave when we were done visiting with Shosh. So, I let him stay until recess! He sat at a little table and intently watched my mom teach. He correctly identified an octagon or hexagon (can't remember) and the class went crazy! He loves to learn and is very observant. He was mimicking the other kids as they were raising their hands to answer Mrs. Hall. He was also mimicking my mom's actions as she explained certain things to the class. I'm hoping his love of learning is here to stay!
