The boys and me..

It was awesome having Grandma Hall here with us for the first week home from the hospital. I have an amazing Mom who taught me so much in such a short amount of time. We were both a little sleep deprived and had some really good laughs together over some pretty silly stuff. Such a fun time though. Thanks Mom, for everything! Grandma Klain is currently on her way here to spend the week. Can't wait for her arrival!

McKay Brenan Klain

McKay Brenan Klain was born May 21, 2009. 8 pounds 5 ounces. 21 inches. This dude is the man. We love him so much. From what we can tell, he loves us too...especially Beth. He's getting used to his Dad pretty quick too though. He looks an awful lot like me. Me and Beth think he really looks like Grayden too...

Well since my two sisters have now both popped, I'm just playing the waiting game! Juliana had her second girl back in March (see Tyler and Juliana's link) and Lindsay had their second boy today (I'm sure they'll post soon). Juilana and Linds both had great deliveries and the babies are so healthy and sweet... congrats to both families!

Who knows when our little Horris/Thompkins/Sambrulina will come (anyone who knows Brenan should understand that those names refer to our son). Ha. So, in the meantime, while I wait, I decided to post some pics of sweet Brenan as a boy :) This first one I posted at the top has got to be my favorite - it's the image I see when I picture our boy's little face. 

So... what are our guesses as to the kind of boy we'll have??

happenings as of late..

My tool man. Ha, we were packing up ol' apartment 101 and Brenan came across his tool belt that had been stored away in our closet, so of course he had to wear it for a while and act the part..

Easter Sunday was spent with Chuck and Julie Browne. We went up the canyon and took some fun pictures. It was a little shocking to see my belly in the pics - I didn't realize the humungitude (Brenan-inspired word).

We always eat DELICIOUS food at Chuck and Julie's. Here we are about to partake of a fruit-tart.. so amazing! 

At the Jazz game in Nu Skin's box, with all my lab peeps. Good nachos, good game, good company. I have been SO incredibly blessed to work with great people.
Toby and Amy -- soon to be wed! They get married next Saturday, May 9th (also Alan's birthday - Happy bithday Alan!) We are so excited for them. They came down to Provo a few weeks ago to enjoy turkey with us. This was the first time we'd cooked a bird! It was a success (and we freed up some serious freezer space!
