Yes, I have been watching and reading too much Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte lately (thus the title of this post). My new favorite movie of all time is Emma. Thanks, Patti, for letting me watch it. I even convinced Brenan to watch it with me (which he thoroughly enjoyed I'll have you know). Very cultured husband I have. And today I watched 4 hours of Pride and Prejudice -- thank you Rachell. I might watch it again before I give it back!

Anyway, I had to post this mainly because McKay reminds me so much of Jack in these pictures! Micah -- you probably don't see it because you're with Jack all day.. but sometimes the way McKay walks (swinging his arms in front and behind him), and some of the looks he gives us makes us think of little Jack. We miss you guys.

Brenan dressed him in this little Easter outfit, even though it was snowing outside. He was quite proud of his ability to pick out a well-matched outfit.

I think McKay looks most similar to Jack in this picture:

Biffin it. Since he never learned to crawl, he doesn't have much core strength.. so when he goes over, he usually lands like a tree. He's learning to buckle when he goes backwards, and use his arms to brace the impact when he goes forward. He still wails when he goes down, not so much because it hurts, but because he can't get back up again. (Do you like Brenan diving out of the picture?)
