Kitties!!!! The kids (and Auntie Ashley) adored these! There were six of them and I can't even remember what we named them.
Storming around the yard.
McKay's first camping trip ever! He camped with Daddy, Uncle Grayden and Papa. They called it a night early (11 pm) and headed back to town because of some mysterious sounds in the brush next to them. They slept on the back porch but it was still a lot of fun and McKay had a blast. Not a lot of sleep happened. I give them props for sleeping on the porch (uncomfortably) when there were perfectly good beds just a few walls away. Ha.
The back porch sleeping situation:
At the parade! Auntie Lindsay was riding on her 10 year float so we got to watch the parade with the Roberts' boys. So much fun. And SO much candy!
Only in Cardston: MUD BOGGING! Does that look like a mud boggin face or what?
PALS.
The beautiful farm. Love this area of the world so much. This was taken with Brenan's camera on a quad ride. I don't remember the last time I took a quad ride for fun.
A little skeet shooting.
Hot tub time with Shosh.
Book time with Shosh.
The little village Beckett, McKay and Wil built together.
Giving Jack a little love.
Ollie and Ev. Just 6 months apart.
A little evening spent with both families. We enjoyed a spread of food, let the kids run around together, and finished it off with a bon fire which included Brenan reciting his "It couldn't be done" poem, and Linds and me reciting "The lilac tree." Still holding out for Micah's poem.
Cousin love on Nam's and Papa's porch.
Tubby time with Big B and Big Dub.
Ev and Wil hanging out together.
Nothing better than snuggles with the Shoshaline.
Wil was determined to take Ev on a stroll. She loved it.
PALS. McKay's got some golden cousins. They had a ton of fun (complete 180 from last summer) together. They enjoyed playing in the rocks (aka moving the little pebbles all around Babu's yard so it's EXCITING for him when he mows the lawn), seeing the kitties, jumping on the tramp, reading books, playing with toys together, etc.
Pool party. Cheryl came out for a visit. It was so lovely to sit in the shade, visit and relax while the kids entertained each other.
