Sunday morning.. getting a snack before church
McKay grabs the pic of Jesus on the table and I ask, "Who is that in that picture?
McKay, "Jesus."
Me, "Does Jesus love you?"
McKay, "Yes." Then he mumbles some things and I eventual hear, "He showed us how to be nice."
Me, "Wow! Yes! That's right McKay! What else did Jesus do for us?"
McKay "um... how to be good. And eat with a fork."
(Can you tell what we've been 'encouraging' McKay to work on? Ha. No, we don't tell him that Jesus wants him to eat with a fork.. he made that extrapolation on his own.)

note: For some reason, McKay has really taken a liking to the name "Governor Romney." His interpretation of the name was "Jimney Romney" and he talks about him randomly. Now he thinks Governor Romney and Jimney Romney are two different people. So...
In church today the ward choir was singing. The men were on the back row of the choir seats. One of the men was quite a bit taller than the rest, wearing a white shirt (obviously), and had dark hair. McKay was sitting on Brenan's lap while the choir was singing and kept saying something over and over to him. Brenan didn't understand at first, but figured out he was saying, "Is that a Romney?" Ha!!! Who is this kid?! Then he started talking about Governor and Jimney Romney. We decided the man singing in the choir MUST be a Romney brother. Go Mitt!
